The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua have received another huge boost in their petition filed at the Supreme Court seeking to overturn the president-elect William Samoei Ruto’s election win.

Azimio leaders in the petition had alleged that the IEBC results were manipulated and the electoral agency’s servers were hacked by foreigners in collaboration with senior IEBC officials.

However in a response to Raila Odinga’s petition, William Ruto refuted claims that the presidential election was not credible.

William Ruto has since asked the supreme court to throw out the petition by Raila Odinga and Martha Karua claiming that the evidence the Azimio team presented to court was forged.

Nonetheless, Raila Odinga and Martha Karua have received a boost in their petition after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s Vice-chair Juliana Cherera exposed serious details surrounding the presidential results that were declared by Wafula Chebukati.

According to Juliana Cherera, in her response to the petition, there were conflicting figures in some of the forms 34As and forms 34Bs.

But Cherera indicates that Wafula Chebukati ignored the conflicting figures and proceeded to announce the presidential election results.
