Why Citizen TV Temporarily Stopped Live Display Of Presidential Provisional Results (Video)

Citizen TV, unlike NTV Kenya and KTN, has stopped showing Provisional Presidency Results for the time being.

The last live broadcast that Citizen TV did was about 6 hours ago. It showed a close race where Deputy President William Ruto was closing in on Raila Amolo Odinga and was almost catching up to him.

From the YouTube channel Citizen TV, the last provisional results showed that Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga, who was running for president of Azimio, had 6,562,405 votes, which is 49.33% of the votes counted on form 34A.

On the other hand, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) presidential candidate William Samoei Arap Ruto had 6,553,978 votes, which is about 49.27% of forms 34A downloaded and counted.

At that time, there were only 8,427 votes between Raila and Ruto.

At the time, Waihiga Mwaura had 29731 votes and Roots’ Presidential Candidate had 57,840 votes.
